Information to make your life a little easier

We pride ourselves on our adaptability and commitment to excellence in every aspect of our service. Explore what we have to offer and how we can contribute to your success.

1. Declutter Before You Pack:
Sort through your belongings and donate or dispose of items you no longer need. The less you move, the cheaper and faster it will be.

2. Pack Room by Room:
Begin with the rooms you use least (like a basement or storage area) and move toward your most frequently used spaces.

3. Label Your Boxes Clearly:
Clearly label each box with its contents and destination room. It makes unpacking much more efficient.

4. Take Photos of Your Electronics:
Snap a photo of your TV, computer, or audio setup before disconnecting. It’s a handy guide when reconnecting later.

5. Keep Essentials Separate:
Prepare a box or bag with your daily essentials — toiletries, medication, phone charger, snacks, a change of clothes — to stay comfortable during the first few nights.

6. Measure Your Large Furniture:
Measure furniture and doorframes in advance to avoid a squeeze on moving day.

7. Fill Boxes Appropriately:
Pack heavy items (like books) in small boxes and lighter items (like pillows) in large ones. It makes lifting much easier.

8. Be Generous with Padding:
Wrap fragile items in towels, clothing, or bubble wrap to keep them safely cushioned.

9. Tape Boxes Properly:
Tape the bottom seams with heavy-duty tape in a “H” pattern to keep boxes from falling apart.

10. Prepare Your Home:
Clear walkways, dismantle furniture if necessary, and protect floors and carpets to avoid damage during the move.
